Yoga and Mindfulness for Kids and Teens

 

Yoga allows kids and teens to stay balanced and healthy. Through yoga, kids gain self-control, body awareness and acceptance.  Yoga helps young people find ways to stay calm during the stressful moments in life and learn how to self-regulate.  It is also energizing and helps bring positivity to the body and mind.  

 

Mindfulness practices are incorporated into yoga classes through breath 

awareness and breathing practices, guided imagery, total body relaxation exercises, and short meditations.

 

Classes can be tailored to meet the needs of your child or teen.  Individual and family sessions are available as well.
