Yoga and Mindfulness for Adults

 

Yoga allows us to reach our fullest potential. Yoga helps us connect to our true self, learn about the mind/body connections, and find ways to stay balanced and healthy.  Be Well yoga classes include centering, breathing, core strengthening, and flexibility and are available for the true beginner and the long time yogi. Each class will guide you safely to a place of total body relaxation, meeting individuals where they are.  Mindfulness techniques will be integrated through focused breath awareness, body scans, present moment awareness and short guided meditations.  Individual sessions are also available to help you develop your own practice.

 

Mindfulness: Individuals and Groups

It is with a beginner's mind and a sense of curiosity that we come to know ourselves through our mindfulness practice. The practice of mindfulness allows us to live life in the present moment and find more joy in our daily experiences.  Through guided seated meditations, walking meditation, and breathing practices, individuals and group members will find practical ways to incorporate mindfulness into their daily lives.  Developing a personal practice has many positive applications that can be applied to your family, work, and personal life.  Group sessions allow individuals to support each other and benefit from practicing together either in a home or work setting.
